WeLoveU Foundation contributes to carry out UN SDGs throughout the whole world

WeLoveU foundation carrying out welfare activities with foundation of “Mind of Mother“ to people as global families even nation and people, languages different. It has been carrying out professional activities such as child and youth welfare, social welfare, emergency relief and environmental welfare. It is starting for the people who are suffering from war, hunger, disaster and illness starting from Korea.

The activities of  WeLoveU Foundation

A torrential rainstorm occurred in Japan in early July.The entire city of Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, was flooded with rain. So local members of the WeLoveU helped the victims. However, the recovery work went not smoothly due to the scorching heat and the subsequent typhoon.

August, 30, 65 Local members of WeLoveU in Tokyo, Sapporo, Saitama, Fukuoka visited to help victims who are suffering. WeLoveU Japan branch official encouraged the victims, saying that “all the people are gathering their heart in regard with national disasters so let’s all work together to overcome the difficulties”. WeLoveU Foundation members went the most damaged districts in Kurashiki City. And they provided basic necessities and cleaned the shelters thoroughly for the health and hygiene of the victims. WeLoveU Foundation members collected garbage and fallen leaves and they removed spider web inside of the shelter with rod. They brushed away dust from window frames and fluorescent light, wiped the floor and stairs with hand rag, cleaned the restroom. Also, members console victims. Above all victims shared their hard time with members, dropping tears. They healed of their heart.

WeLoveU Foundation is also doing a “Clean World Campaign”. This make purify urban centers, parks, mountains, seas and rivers around the world every year with the aim of protecting the global environment, which is the foundation of welfare, by responding to the climate change which is threatening human life.

Also, WeloveU Foundation held the 19^th “New Life Love Family Walkathon” in Seoul last April. And more than 13,000 people participated. This event helped to provided educational facilities, supplies and educational activities to 20 countries including Laos, Honduras, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Cambodia, Ghana and Ukraine.

WeLoveU Foundation’s activity of International Aid and Implementation of UN SDGs

WeLoveU Foundation distributed medical expenses and living expenses to domestic welfare families and 115 families of multicultural families. At that time, the diplomats in Korea attended the walking contest praised sharing activities of WeLoveU Foundation. In particular, they has shown great interest in worldwide activities which is corresponding to implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). UN SDGs means common goal of United Nations and international community in order to solve universal problem of mankind. That is agenda adopted by 193 countries at the UN General Assembly in 2015. It contains 17 goals and 169 detailed goals such as poverty and hunger eradication, health, good quality education, gender equality and climate change and so on.
