In the New Year, let’s share happiness with the heart of a mother.

It’s not easy to help others continually for over 30 years, how did you feel about it?

The earth we live in looks like big, but if we look down from heaven, it’s very small. People who live in it are a family within a fence called earth, even though it is differ from nation, the color of skin, language, environment of life and culture. With the heart of a mother, I help neighbors and then more and more people joined to help the region and help the world beyond the country.

How do you feel about participating in volunteer activities such as Kimchi-sharing event, Service of briquettes, Clean World Movement, etc.?

Whenever I see that a dying life comes to live, and a person who was despairing gets courage and hope, living actively, I think that I’ve done a great job. I agree with the proverb that to save a life is to save the world. It saves not only life, but the dream of the person, the future, the family with him, and the society he belongs to.

What does the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation want the future world to be?

We’ve recently received good news from Benin, Africa. We, the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation, have a bond with a family there and for 5 years we’ve provided education and living support for the mother who is the only breadwinner of the family and takes care of her two sons. She told us that her oldest son at puberty has determined in his heart to study hard and he is enough to be a good example for people around him now.

We heard that the two brothers also participated in the Clean World Movement held in Benin last year. It was a moving moment to see the children who were helped has grown into the good persons performing service. In this way, service leads to another good, which is by the people who have felt the touch of warmth. With the virtuous cycle of service, we hope all 7.6 billion people will be happy. That’s the future of the global village that WeLoveU dreams of.

What’s next for the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation?

Sustainable welfare requires sustainable love. With a Mother’s touch, which is like a mother’s love freely given for her family, the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation, and all the members around the world will continue to serve in the future. In fact, people want to help someone, but they often don’t find a way and an opportunity. Therefore, WeLoveU Foundation has held “New Life Love Concert”, “New Life Love Family Walk”, personality education for youth, university students and parents, and global forums to share international perspectives and create spaces for participating in welfare activities. We will provide more opportunity to engage in welfare activities together for many people.

It is said that changes in thoughts bring the changes in habits and life. If we love all human with the heart of Mother and take the initiative in sharing and caring, it will bring us noble character and makes our lives worthwhile. The people who changed in that way can change the world.
